CHAIR COVERS is a part of my graduation project THE WALLS WERE COVERED WITH CUT-OUTS

In order to make the chair covers, I photographed a chair and used the negative space surrounding the original chair as the pattern for its cover. By tracing this (rest) form from a paper cut-out onto fabric and stitching the pattern together, a new monumental shape grew, covering the original chair and hereby focusing again on the potential of the original silhouette to evolve into a new shape by using its own negative shape, or rest form.
